It is the commitment of HM&V Water management to provide a high standard of safe working practices from its employees, and to maintain a good safety record. |

All employees are required to sign an undertaking that they have read and understand the Health and Safety at Work Act. |

They are also given to understand that they must take reasonable care for their own health and safety, and that of other persons who may be affected by the employee’s actions or omissions. |

Pre-arrangements of safe working practices should be decided, including the use of our company safety policy for our own workforce, and any necessary permits to work issued. |

Warning notices will be displayed by our employees if required by law. |

Our employees will comply with in house health and safety regulations. |

We, the contractor, will be responsible for maintaining a standard of tidiness in the interests of safety. |

We are to be made aware of local fire precautions, in particular, to be made aware of procedures, alarms, escape routes, and assembly points. |

Site smoking policies will be adhered to. |

Electrical power tools will be rated at 110v, and T/Fs 250v/110v will be double wound and tapped to earth. |

All equipment will be correctly fused and will be within current test date. |

All chemicals used on site will have relevant health and safety data sheets. |
| 13 |
All personal protective equipment will be provided by HM&V Water Treatment. |
